Restaurant Review: Elements

I went here with a girlfriend for lunch. I had wanted to try it since I saw it open up but I'll be honest it didn't really draw me in. I know each university building needs a restaurant and I was excited to see something unique but I found their approach a little confusing. Is it a fancy place? Well it doesn't look that way, but the menu sort of seems to say that, but the waiters are really casual. Either way though I wanted to give it a go; I mean I always want to try something new.

I ordered the spicy bacon popcorn and I loved it. They need to sift it out a little better though before they add all the sauce bacon etc.) because I almost broke a tooth on a kernel but other then that I suggest trying it! It has a nice sweet but great spicy flavor and good salt with the bacon in there.

I felt like I was in a deli or bistro so I expected larger portions (for the price) but it was pretty small and not so good. The soup tasted like feet and the steak sandwich was dry and very small. I'm glad I'm a small eater but even for me I was wanting more.

Everything on the menu seemed to have the same theme to it so if you don't like mushrooms for example their weren't a lot of items to pick from.

I told my waiter about the soup and she wouldn't let me leave until I said yes to taking a salad or something else with me. I opted for the salad but even that tasted similar to everything else (which to me wasn't so good).

On a scale of 1-10 (1- Horrible, it should be closed down!! 10- Amazing, would go back again and again!) I give it “4- Ok, but I still wouldn’t go back"
