Doesn't it look wonderful? It's come along so well and I'm so happy and (still) excited about this end result. The project took a lot longer then we thought it would and there were a few extra steps but it was so worth it to now have a living room and dinning room we love.
Some new blinds. We bought at least 10 different types of curtains before we thought of blinds and turns out that's the best thing that goes in there anyways. I wanted something white and clean, and it sort of gives the place a little bit of a (modern) cap cod feel right?
The antique green couch used to be here but we put it in the studio to make it a little more roomy and simple in the living room.
I got this light for free when we were moving out of our old apartment. They were remodeling and were just going to throw it out anyways. I just spray painted it, switched up the bulbs and there you go! Looks like a million!
I updated this liquor shelf while I was at it. It was brass before. Not bad for a 25cent purchase!

Right now I'm not putting any art work up on the walls except for that large painting in the dinning room. So I thought a little art work on the floor would be fun...and I was running out of room on where to put all my extra art.
