Road Trip, Day 16, More Vancouver

I posted last week about our trip to Granville Island and now I'm going to show you all the goodies we got.

It was a great night, lots of great food, wine, and of course our friends! We love you guys!

Aren't you hungry now? I want to do this night again already! (See you guys at Christmas!)

Road Trip, Day 16- Vancouver

We went to Vancouver as our last stop and I think it was one of the best because we stayed with our friends Sheri & Jeromy. They used to live close to us (only an hour away) but now they live way out in BC.  They were so nice to let us stay with them and show us around town.
First we went to Granville Island. It was a lot of fun. It was sort of like The Forks in Winnipeg, but so much better!

We decided we were going to shop for all the goods to have a little wine and cheese night. Oh were there wonderful things to pick from!
Here we're talking to the farmers about organic apples and fruit.
I just wanted to stand here all day smelling all the greatness that is fudge.

I bet you could guess that this was my favorite vendor!

We never did figure out what the guys were looking at but this is what we came out to after shopping for a little while. We thought they were looking at the birds. Whatever entertains you.

Don't these look wonderful? They were!

Road Trip, Day 15: More Seattle

I love Seattle. I want to go back already! Here are a few more photos of our time there. I'd like to go there in the summer time, I'm sure it's really pretty that time of year too.

These dogs were seriously cute. I black one is a carine terror which I always love to see because Ollie is a half carine half yorkie.

It was starting to rain and we were getting pretty hungry so we went to Salty's. I'll write more about that later but I suggest you give it a try if you ever go to Seattle. The first thing I ordered wasn't anything like it sounded on the menu, but then I got clam chowder; oh gosh it was good! And the view from there is wonderful.

Oh and then there was this- a giant snickerdoddle! It was pretty tasty, but honestly, I make them better :)
