Ok Maybe I'm Ok With 3D TVs

So I saw this commercial and it sort of made me like the idea of 3D TVs. I can't say I want one because just seeing 3D movies in the theaters sort of makes me dizzy but this commercial sure makes me dream (which I think is supposed to be about getting myself one of these TVs!) and dreaming is always a good time!

Concert Fun

So I went to the Anberlin concert the other day and usually when I go to a show I check out who's opening but this time around life has just been super busy that I really just didn't care enough to check. It was after 10 when Anberlin even started (three hours after the concert started!) but I have to say the two opening bands were really good! I had never heard of either of them so I thought I'd share them here in case you hadn't either!




So I feel a little silly saying that I'd never heard of either of these bands before, I love music but sometimes I'm a little behind on things, but either way I hope you like them because I know I do!

Wow, isn't this great? A family just decided to do this together! That's some serious commitment and what good memories those kids will have. I mean really how many kids can say "Ya, me and my dad send something to space just for kicks"?

The first video is the making of this great ad. They let 100 cats roam free in IKEA for a night, just sort of to see what would happen.

I watched this video the other day and I almost started to cry.

I think this was all over Oprah a couple of time, a year or so ago and it probably faded into that area of our mind we call "Can't do much about it so I'll just ignore it" but it's time to be reminded and it's time to realize we can do something about it!! We can buy recyclable plastic and make sure it gets to the recycling center. We can buy glass or tin or paper or not buy at all! We can make change!!

How To Make Compost Tea!

So now that I'm officially a gardener I was to really get into it and do a good job. So I started my indoor composting, I'll be starting up my outdoor composting right away, and now I'm onto the idea of compost tea. I have to be honest the first time I heard of compost tea was on Twilight when they went on that field trip. BUT I really want to give it a go, so here's a great video for you!

Fav Song of the Week: Bossy

I like this song because sometimes my husband tells me I'm bossy and I break into a little bit of the hand flipping and singing, and it reminds me of me and my sister when we would sing this song together too. Good memories!

My First Ebay Purchase

My dog recently started shedding and I've tried a few things already and nothing seems to be working. Then I came across this brush and it looks great. I've shopped around a bit already and it's pretty much $50 everywhere. That's a lot of money for a brush so what did I do? Ebay. I paid $5 so I guess we'll see what I end up with! I'll keep you all posted!

Why They're Wonderful: Dog Saving Other Dog

I saw this the other day and thought it was amazing. The first video I saw of it didn't say what happened, it was only set to music (stupid by the way!) and so I searched for a while until I found this one...wow, just amazing! It just goes to shows how amazing God made dogs.

I think these things are my new best friend AND my new goal for a bigger purchase (bigger to me at least). I've done posts about wall plants, and live walls a couple of times because I just love them but I have to be honest I haven't look into how to do them and here we go! Seems pretty easy right?
