Road Trip: Day 11- Part 2, Hearst Castle

Some friends of ours told us that we had to stop here, it was a must see. It is pretty breath taking but if you've been to Europe this is like that but scaled down (most of the art and ceilings were brought over from Spain or are replicas). It is still very pretty and if you have the time (4 hours, if you didn't time your arrival to the time of a tour, 2-3 if you did) I would suggest stopping here. 

Road Trip: Day 11- Pacific Coast Highway

We decided that we had to drive along the Pacific Coast Highway. We'd heard so much about the drive and didn't know when we would be down there again so we had to do it. It sucked up a lot of time but it was super beautiful and I think worth it!

Road Trip: Day 10-The Santa Monica Pier

We went here way later then we had hoped to so nothing was really open and you couldn't see out into the ocean very well but it was still pretty and to be that close to the ocean when you lives thousands of miles away, well anything is great! 

In case you've never heard of the Santa Monica Pier, or ever been there I thought I would include a few say time photos and a video just to give you a better idea of how pretty and fun it is there. Great (but full) place to go to the beach for the day.
